Goal

To build a strong participatory and consultative culture in the development management processes.

Objectives

MoLG and its partners’ capacity to promote and facilitate Participatory Development Management at all levels strengthened. Capacity of LLGs in 10 districts to promote and facilitate participatory development management for broad based equitable self reliance and sustainable development strengthened. Capacity of LGs enhanced to implement a building-block PDM modality based on village and Parish level priorities.

Performance in FY 2009/10

• Strategy for integrating PDM into HPPG completed;
• Trained 635 PDM community facilitators.

Planned Outputs for FY 2010/11

• HPPG integration strategy disseminated
• Weak LGs in Northern Uganda , and the new districts  supported.
