Performance in FY 2009/10
- 93 District and Municipal Environment Officers trained in Environment and natural resource (ENR) management in the implementation of LG projects;
- 15 MoLG inspectors trained in ENR management of LG projects;
- 40 pickups were bought and distributed to 40 PRDP Districts ;
- 2400 bicycles bought and distributed to Parish Chiefs of to 40 PRDP Districts;.
- 18,848 desks procured and 1,888 classrooms built;
- 672 latrines constructed;
- A total of 144 health facilities among which were 64 Health Centres/OPD and 88 staff houses;
- 416 water sources constructed;
- 7,320 km of roads were rehabilitated and 6,936 culverts fixed.
- 16 slaughter houses and abattoirs constructed;
- 8,960 banana suckers, 1,963,984 clonal coffee seedlings and 16,584 fruit trees were distributed to farmers;
- 772,256 tree seedlings were planted and 1840 tsetse flies traps were bought and installed;
- Trained all Parish Chiefs, Sub-county Chiefs, Community Development Officers, Town Clerks; and members of the District/Municipal Technical Planning Committees on CDD modalities.
Planned Outputs for FY 2010/11
- CBGs and LDGs disbursed to LGs;
- Two vehicles procured;
- Construction of Sub-county headquarters and staff houses in 40 districts in Northern Uganda completed;
- Structure plans of 30 Town Boards prepared;
- Physical planning activities of PRDP districts supported;
- LLG offices and staff houses in the PRDP districts constructed/renovated.
